Schott Leather Naval Peacoat 740N – Size 46
Detailed measurements in the photos
Bought it last winter when I lived in the path of the Polar Vortex. As I sit out on my balcony this winter, or what passes for winter on the Left coast, I thought I would pass this along to someone who needs it and would do it justice.
The 740N is a ‘classic cut’. It is best for those of us who have earned the right to wear a size 46: the linebackers, D-ends, Tight-ends and Power-forwards and meat ‘n’ potatoes guys. If you look in the mirror and find a supermodel staring back at you; this might not be the jacket for you.
This is a natural leather jacket. Character, texture, variation, blemishes come are part and parcel of its charm. Also, I wore it, very carefully, for the past year. I would conservatively rate it 8-9 out of 10, but don’t expect a shiny, blemish free, ‘fashion’ jacket. A brand new one would set you back ~$650
Grab this one for $249 inclusive of Paypal fees + $25 shipping in the CONUS (this piece is super heavy). International shipping extra – whatever it costs me.
