Recommend some chinos

What are some good chinos that are not incredibly baggy or old-manish?

Are the Polo Ralph Lauren regular ones, or the slim-fit ones better? The slim-fit looks a bit too slim, perhaps. What about Brooks Bros? Which BB fit is best?

Thanks.

I love my BB Advantage Chinos. I get the slim Milano fit but they have other fits. I like the sturdiness of the fabric and the cut is perfect. I don't need any alterations on the cuff which is nice.

I recently got 3 pair for $55 each using the Friends & Family coupon combined with their 2 for 139 offer. The SA gave me the 3rd pair at the discounted price

The Brooks Brothers 'Milano' fit looks really rather nice to me, matey. I wonder how I can get that price down from what it is... devliery to Britain is another $50 on top. All the colours look good, too.

I hear ya. I waited nearly all year just to get them at that price. Looking back I probably should have stocked up on a few more.

Erm, could you explain this post? I don't understand what you mean.

Are you suggesting I just buy some chinos that might be a little baggy and take them to the tailors? Can I do that?

what style are you going for bb is a little "nicer". I really like the J.Crew slim fit pants myself for a casual look.

I mean go to a tailor choose a nice cotton cloth of your colour preference and ask them to make to measure.
