Paraboot double monk in the dark brown. Probably wear with navy pinstripe suit; charcoal or brown dress pants.

sutor mantellassi and bruno magli are also offering double monks in stp. i am not familiar with the brand paraboot. are they well made?

The soles are a bit heavy, probably Dainite being Paraboot. From all accounts they are very hardy shoes and I like the design, but these would not go well with most suits IMO due to the soles.

They have a double sole look to them which restricts them to something less than suit worthy.

Got the shoes and they are much better looking than the pix. And, assuming dainite means a rubber sole (like my other paraboots), these don't have dainite - -nice leather soles.

Regardless of the composition of the soles, they're just too heavy to go with very dressy suits. However, I'd certainly wear them with a more casual suit...they look very nice.
