Bought this coat from another member here last year. It's a beautiful open patch pocket jacket, and I especially love the fabric which is a great donegal tweed wool with multi-color specks. Unfortunately, the fit of this jacket just doesn't work for me, but hopefully it works for someone else.

Here I have a beautiful, wool sport coat, from an unknown maker, presumably bespoke. It has no size tag, but it measures most like a 38 Short. The fabric is assuredly 100% wool tweed in a donegal pattern, which is exceptionally lightweight for a tweed, and would be perfect for 3 season wear (fall-spring). It's overall color is a versatile medium brown with flecks of blue, yellow, orange, white, and grey.

Furthermore, it is cut in a Neopolitan style with a 3/2 roll front, lightly padded shoulders with roped sleeveheads, a suppressed waist, and triple open patch pockets. The quality is obviously superb with fully canvassing, pick stitching, surgeon cuffs, and handwork throughout.

The condition is excellent with no notable flaws.

MEASUREMENTS:

  • Pit to pit: 19.5"
  • Shoulder to shoulder (across back): 18"
  • Sleeve length from top of shoulder: 23.5" plus ~2" to let out
  • Total length from bottom of collar: 28"

Thanks for looking!
JR
