Good sports forums

[MetroStyles]

I'm looking for some good sports forums, particularly for the NFL. I'm a Dallas fan, but cowboys-forum.com is filled with homers, prepubescents, and general dementia. Is there a forum that discusses football in an intelligent way with minimal trash talk? Preferably with a large enough user base that there is a healthy flow of new posts. Also, feel free to post any other good sports forums here. I really like Baseball Fever for baseball, especially for historical discussion.

"Homers, pre-pubescents and general dementia" - I think you've pretty much described every sports forum I've ever seen.

If anyone has a good one, I'd be curious as well, but I doubt they exist.

Yes, I agree. I haven't found any to be worth following. Even the collegiate ones are hard to suffer through.

You could try footballprospectus.com. It's not a forum, but it's probably the place for the best incisive analysis. I'm not a football guy myself, but I used to read Baseball Prospectus, which is affiliated.
