It features half canvas construction. Made in Italy to very high standards. It is tagged a 42R US, and fits true to size. (See measurements below) The quality of the 100% virgin wool fabric on this tuxedo is superb. Four season weight. Extremely soft to the touch. Corneliani sources fabrics from some of the best mills in the world for its suits. This suit is no exception. It would make an excellent addition to any closet. The tuxedo has three very classic sartorial details: silk grosgrain shawl collar lapels, silk grosgrain stripes on the pants, and side tab adjusters on the pants. The color of the 100% wool outer fabric is a very dark shade of blue. It can be characterized as "midnight blue." The blue threads in the fabric only become apparent when you hold the jacket up to a true black wool jacket. This "midnight blue" color is highly sought-after by sartorial connessieurs.
