From afar, it will look like a fashion-forward back-tassel. Perfect for a Prada piece. Make sure to have the dog eat the back of the other shoe as well for symmetry.

Personally, I would chrome tan a dog hide and then vegetable re-tan it for the chromexcel pull up effect.

Not really.
I wouldn't toss them though. They would make great beater shoes.
