DARK Denim Jacket, what pants?

I have a new Converse dark denim jacket, but I'm not sure what pants to wear with it. Do I go Black denim and a t-shirt? I want to avoid the Canadian Tux look. Here's a pic of the jacket:

Should I go light denim for contrast?

Indeed, perhaps another thread could have answered the question. This thread hasn't been deleted, so here's my suggestion: Dark indigo denim jacket black or really really dark denim jeans looks best. Random tee, sneakers or non-black boots. Ala Cheapmutha:
