I've been wearing a Nordstrom Loro Piana camel hair for years and it has finally worn through. This time I am going to go custom but wanted to get some thoughts on possible ways to design this coat. I'm thinking 3 roll 2 button stance and flapped pockets but wondering if that incongruous? Would patch pockets be more appropriate? What about adding a throat latch or ticket pocket? Would this make the coat more functional by allowing it to be fully closed or would this be gimmicky? Thanks for all the suggestions and input!

Nothing incongruous about flap pockets, or if you wish patch/flap pockets
like those featured on Brooks Bros. sport coats during the Ivy heyday.

I would omit the ticket pocket and/or throat latch.
