Well, he would insist, wouldnt he? By convincing you that it is a good thing to do, he probably increases the number of times, you will wear his shirts, and therefor the number of shirts you will eventually buy from him. Otherwise you would probably do what most people do, and not wear the bespoke shirt with sports jackets, but rather a more ordenary one, and probably not bespoke.

Anyways, Will from ASW tried to sell the idea of silknots with a sports coat and I must say I like that idea better then the idea of cuff links for it.

Their self-made "99 exemplar" links are pretty boring but some of the vintage ones are cool. Still, their markup is ridiculous. At least 5x, which may or may not be standard in the jewelry industry.
