OK stupid question - How did you measure the waist of the jacket?

Based on the instructions I read on AAAC, i usually measure at the 2nd button from the bottom. If that's how you measured, this piece would only fit a guy who weighs 100#. However, I know Thick as Thieves measures at the narrowest part of the jacket. If that's the case I might have a fighting chance.

Lol....my apologies for the confusion.

As this is a 2-button jacket, I measured at the top button, from seam-to seam....I'll measure end-to-end when I get home tonight and will give you that measurement.

May I ask what size jacket you generally wear?

42S in BB Fitzgerald is perfect. 42S in RLBL Anthony is about 2" too tight in the waist. I would guess the Tom Ford is aggressive / skinny like the RLBL?

Two observations.

TF IS cut slim...that said? I'm 6'1...210 lbs...wear ALOT of Isaia, mainly 52R.

THIS Tom Ford didn't fit me insanely. Wasn't pulling and wasn't THAT short, all things considered.

Do you have a good tailor? I ask that because even if it was a smudge tight? It's a minor and inexpensive alteration-which, I'm sure you know.

Just the same, I'll measure end-to-end when I get home.

I've owned a RLBL suit, but it was double breasted-that fit was more aggressive/slimmer than the TF.

Can you get more of these in other sizes? I would need an EU 48R or 48C....
