You could probably pick up something very similar to those at a Trading Post store. A lot cheaper too. Do you attend Pow Wows much?

You might want to try out lesser expensive brands like Minnetonka to see if you like the style or not before you go drop $$$ on those yuketens.

I'm pretty disappointed with my yuketens. I have the "sports hunt" boots. The stitching of the sole at the front of the boot came undone within the first month. I'm sure this isnt a problem with the regular hunt boots where the sole is kind of wrapped all the way up the front.

Way too far. Tone it down a bit.

My main problem with them is you'd be paying a **** ton of extra cash to buy a product made in America, shipped to Japan, then sold back to America, appropriated from Native Americans.

If you looked into buying moccasins from a native american seller you could cut out 99% of the middle man. Check ebay and trading post style shops. Might not be easy for you, but I've seen very similar things selling for a lot less. Visvim FBT is different in the sense it brings in modern construction, new sole, etc. Only reason I could see going with these over the authentic thing is if you're in love with that ugly ass yuketen sole.
