Here's my situation: becuase of my frame (waist 28, 5"7, 9.5stone) I find it hard to find clothes that fit just right, as often my clothes need alterations of some kind. I know how to shorten trousers, but I don't want to experiment with crafts such as darting shirts and tapering trousers. That's why I'm in need of a tailor that will offer such services.

I have done some research, myself- I've called and visited some, but almost all seem to say the same thing: "sorry we do not offer such services, unless you have bought your goods from us personally".

I live just outside Cambridge (UK), but can easily make my way to London if necessary, so my question is, do you know of any, or can you recommend any tailors that are willing to make alterations to trousers (tapering legs and taking in waists) and possibly darting shirts?

Much help needed, cheers!
