Not sure what to think about this news. Been an Allen Emonds advocate for the past 5 years. AE better now follow the same path as Johnston and Murphy.

This seems better than being bought out and rolled into Men's Warehouse. I hope the new owners take a long-term view of Allen-Edmonds and don't try to leverage them up too much or dilute the brand or quality in manufacturing.

Heck, maybe they can tell them to discontinue the cheesy apparel collection they rolled out.
