The sole on my Doc Martens boot is splitting. Can this be fixed?
The sole on my boot is separating from the upper, as you can see here: I think this is where the sole was supposed to be heat-sealed together with the upper so I am guessing this is a manufacturing defect. You can watch the process in this video: This is a new pair from the For Life...- Douro

Are Doc Martens waterproof?
I just got a pair of Doc Marten 1460s I'm wondering if it's cool to take them out into the rain? I won't be jumping in huge puddles or anything, but I live in a really rainy area and it's my first pair of nice leather boots. Do I need to treat the with something?- Pngwyn

Resole Dr Martens?
I know that Dr Martens take some bashing around here, but in the winter months, I like thier basic brown boot...it's light and comfortable to walk in... Hawkins boots - much like Doc Martens
