Bought them two weeks ago at the Allen Edmonds store during their "big sale" and paid pretty close to $300.

Imagine the irony... well dressed guy (ie. me) walks into AE store and picks his favourite style out of 100+ models on display. Guess what I bought?

AE Strand In walnut (light brown) F@#$@#k why didn't I just wait 2 weeks and snap them up for $200. Would have saved $100.

Couldn't originally decide between walnut and brown. So I bought walnut. Now brown is $200 at Land's End.

Resisting urge to buy a pair of AE's in a slightly different color. That I totally don't need. And I don't expect anyone here to talk me out of it either. Dammit

FWIW...I like the strand a lot more in Walnut and would get the Fifth Avenue in Burnished Brown. Screw saving $100, your shoes look great.

damn I need an E width.

any chance of ordering a D and exchanging to a store somewhere for an E width? could you take this into AE new and get a different size?

yeah - if you just purchased in walnut and had the $200 burning a hole, why not head back to ebay and find something a bit different for the $200?

Thanks for the code! Picked up a pair of the Bayfield's for the winder in NYC. They look to be more distressed on the LE site as opposed to the AE site, and have different laces. May swap in the AE laces as I prefer the look of the flat laces to the round laces.
