I have checked through the ocean of WAYWRN pictures.
I have Google'd

No shortage of advice & tips for the cloth & brown -or- brown/burgundy & bone
But what about the Black & White Spectators?

What does one wear with them?

I am aware of them being used in Ballroom Dancing, but what about on the street?
If pictures are possible, please post links.
Thanks everyone

Interesting, but I disagree in certain respects. I have nothing against brown and white spectators but I consider the black and white more exclusive, which is borne out by the very fact that most are too skittish to choose the black and white version. And I believe that they would indeed be flashier to someone self conscious about wearing a spectator in the first place but anyone who thinks theyre going to not be noticed in brown & white vs. black & white is simply rationalizing the shoe. However, the black and white version look better with greys and blues and the brown and white with tans and browns. I dont know about wearing white flannel pants but maybe cream gabardine or doupioni silk, even white or powder blue linen would also pair well with black & white specs. I note that with a grey striped seersucker, black and white specs look natty.

I think a seersucker suit would look great with black/white spectators.

Somebody (I forget who) posted pics of himself in downtown SF wearing B&W specs and he made it work.

Will's case was persuasive to me also, even though I have never liked these shoes. I still don't think I will get any, however.

Tons of options
  1. Brick red and cream seersucker.
  2. Burgundy and white seersucker
  3. Pale grey blue linen suit - tan and white also work well here
  4. ..... more to follow....

If you have to ask, you may not be ready for B&W specs...
