getting jeans off ebay
I think the 47's are all cotton, whereas the okinawa's are 50% cotton, 50% sugarcane. I own the okinawa's...very nice, super slubby, intense colour. They run a bit small imo, keep that in mind. Good price too!- gimmegimme

Levis anti-fit tailoring fix?
Wouldn't it be easier to just buy jeans that are the cut the way you want already? Altering jeans can be tricky and you'd need to have a very good tailor that's done that sort of thing before.- gimmegimme

Thanks for all the info. I know they're not a Japanese company, but any opinions on Imperial Duke's? I'm drawn to the subtle pocket stitching and long inseam. Is it worth spending the same dollar value on Japanese-made jeans rather than jeans actually produced by a Japanese company?- gimmegimme
