Please, forgive the long, long delay in getting pictures to you of this jacket after the collar "surgery." These pictures were taken this afternoon because my wife wanted to get a picture of my facial hair prior to it's removal. It was a bit warmer today then it's been in a good while and...

I don't know a lot about canvas weights, but I never considered the duck canvas thin on this jacket. I would guess that it's a medium weight. I can say that in photographs, I though the new jacket looked "stiff"...the duck canvas, but when I received the jacket I was surprised at how...

You're welcome. When I get a chance to have my wife take 3 or four pictures of me wearing it, I will post them. They will be taken inside, so they wont be great, but it should give you an idea. They will also show what the collar looks like after being professionally trimmed down. - Ian

I purchased the unlined duck (canvas) chore coat a few months ago. I'm 5'7" and 150. I normally wear a size 38 suit jacket. I purchased it in size medium. It was washed in hot/warm water twice and dried twice. Since it's 100% cotton, it shrunk significantly, as you may expect. After all of...

Looking for a nice M-65 style jacket

Check out ebay for vintage M-65 field jackets. They were issued from 1965 until around 2000 (I think..maybe a bit later). On ebay search in Collectibles: Militaria. Start in the Vietnam section and work your way up to around the year 2000. Search either M65 (M-65) or M1965 (M-1965). Sometimes...
