What AE color works best with gray/light gray suit?

HSM Gold Trumpter- value? half-canvas?
Can someone confirm that HSM Gold Trumpter Suits are half-canvas? The salesman of course said it was, but some people have posted that it is fused. Dillard's has these suits on sale for $400. It that a decent price for the quality of this suit?- thisguyneedsasuit
