    Peal & Co Balmorals

Thanks for your insight Matt. How does the quality of the lightweight, AS wingtips compare to the C&J ones? Also, are these exclusively made for BB/Peal&Co or can a comparable style and color be found directly from AS/C&J? --Luke

    Peal & Co Balmorals

I am considering getting these BB Peal&Co wingtip bals: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCatP...uct_Id=1455782 Any thoughts on the look and construction? I hear Peal&Co is actually made by C&J or AS - any clues as to who makes these? Thanks in advance, Luke

    Help identifying Grenson shoes

After further research they seem be Grenson Dylans, but I can't find them in the same color or the scotchgrain leather. Has anyone seen these before or are they custom to Matches? Thanks in advance, LukeZZ

    Help identifying Grenson shoes

I'm looking for a slim brogue shoe in dark brown. I like these Grensons from Matches, but they dont have my size and I haven't been able to find the same style & color online. Does anyone what these are called? Or better yet, who besides Matches sells them? Thanks in advance, LukeZZ

    Scottish cashmere, slim cut?

Maybe this is just my taste, but I find a baggy sweater looks awful on a skinny and younger guy. Thanks yarnsforth for the BB pointer. That looks like it might fit me well. LukeZZ

    Brogue boots in SF

Can anyone point me to a retail store in the San Francisco area that might carry brogue boots (Tricker's, Loake, Grenson, Herring etc)? I tried Cable Car Clothiers, Barneys, Wilkes, and Neiman Marcus, but no luck so far. I know I can order these online, but I am concerned about finding the right...

    Scottish cashmere, slim cut?

I am looking for a made in Scotland, cashmere v-neck sweater in a slim cut (higher arm holes, narrow body). Does anyone make these? I looked around online and at Cable Car Clothiers. CCC found two sweaters in my size, 38, by John Laing and Johnstons of Elgin. Sadly, while the shoulders were...

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

Thanks Joenobody0. I went to try the Plaza last at Alden Shop and the 11.5 fit well. Unfortunately, Leather Soul only has the Plaza Wingtips in size 12 left. So I'll have to pass but maybe someone else here will want those.

    Good sportcoat fit?

I have a navy corduroy sportcoat that I plan to take to the tailor. I am looking for examples of similar, well fitting jackets. What do you think of this fit:

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

Is there another pair of Alden shoes that uses the same last as the Leather Soul boots? I would like to try on a pair the the Alden Shop for fitting.

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

Are any of the recommended boots (Ticker's, Grenson, Herring, LS Alden) light weight? My concern is that they would be excessive for the mild weather we have in San Francisco. I certainly appreciate a sturdy boot, but prefer a lighter, less chunky style. Thank you again for your excellent...

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

Thank you everyone for the excellent recommendations. The Tricker's boots are gorgeous and sturdy looking but the acorn color is a little too flashy for my taste. I am looking into the Leather Soul Alden Plaza Wingtips. They look great too, although, I wonder if they would be too heavy for...

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

Those certainly look nice, but a little too polished/shiny for what I need right now. I plan to wear these casually, most likely with jeans.

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

It just looks very cheap, indeed. Well, just out of curiosity, can you give an example of what you would consider boots made of good looking leather?

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

The leather on the Paul Smith shoes looks awful. What makes you say that?

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

Look for PS Corsos in Sigaro dip dye. They seem to come back every other season. They also go on sale a lot. Thanks zippyh! The Corsos look great and seem to be available online. How long have you had yours? Do they last well? Luke

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

Official brogue boot thread: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=182630 Thanks for the pointer. Out of what I saw there the Loake Banks are closest to what I am looking for: I still love the Paul Smith Sundance boots. If only I could find them somewhere. Luke

    Brogue Boot Recommendation

I am looking for a brogue boot in a similar color and leather style to these Paul Smith oxfords: Particularly, I am looking for the same deep dark brown color with some gradation. I would appreciate your suggestions for specific boots or terms I should search for. Thank you, Luke
