I'm gonna wager he's the one on the right, given the phone fades. Unfortunately, the bad quality has caused you, like I, to mistake an only relatively hideous pair of loafers for a pair of square-toed Kenneth Cole monstrosities. If indeed the poster is the guy on the left, you make no mistake...

There's never too much PG. The jeans are Skulls so they're pretty long and I'm not much taller than you. I just suck at jeans since I never really wore them before getting these. They look great. So does the blazer. But maybe they'd both look their best as parts of different outfits. If I were...

Does this much stacking look weird with the fit I'm going for? What fit are you going for? I don't think there's too much stacking but I'm the guy who's 5'6" and won't hem DH 36" inseams. So I may be biased. IMO you can never really have enough... However, I really don't like the "sportcoat...

    Polishing black shoes to BROWN?

Wow, unreal! Very nice. Thanks for posting that. Could you tell us the brand names of the stuff you used and how long each step took? Sort of a how-to? I'm definitely interested in doing this to my Docs.

    Mens fur coats

The coat likes satin lining on the inside? I didn't know coats had preferences. I get it. You're one of those guys. I must confess I had a moment of not being totally sure what the material was, since I don't wear fur coats (unless you count sheepskin). So I let a little bit of the every day...

    Polishing black shoes to BROWN?

Yeah please. I really want to see that. I just discovered a pristine pair of Doc Martens in my attic from 1993 and I want to work them into my daily rotation come F/W. But I have a strong aversion to black footwear. This thread may help, a lot.

    Winter Coat Dilemma

Teger - have you considered Sterlingwear pea coats? I inadvertently bumped a 2-year-old thread about this while trying to help a n00b...but I have one and I love it. Very warm and very cheap, and you can have them make it to your specs (within a certain window).

jc, n&f, justin fit makes me look scrawny, sleeves rolled up too far probably Maybe because you are scrawny? Which isn't a bad thing, this is actually one of the best fits I have seen on here in a while, on proportions alone.

Kookz, funny running into you here. I had to stop and think for a second about why you looked so familiar (Honda-Tech).

Looking to Purchase a Pea Coat -- Schott or Sterlingwear?

I got a 32L Sterlingwear and I kinda wish I had gone with a 34. The fit looks awesome, but layering is pretty much out of the question...that is, if I want to button the damn thing. It's very tight in the armholes which kinda sucks, yet the sleeves are a little wider than I would like. On the...

Well, this sucks. JF and HF are completely dead and I am permanently banned from AF. Not that I'd go to AF for anything aside from harassment of its pathetic member base.

    Mens fur coats

A proper man's fur coat has the fur on the inside -- hence, the shearling is OK. That's a good point. A lot of mens' fur coats I have seen have fur on the outside and like normal satin lining on the inside. WTF is the point of that?
