    Braces fashionable ?

I took them to the shop so I could have the...

UPDATED: Conflict with proper suit/sport jacket length for short man

When buying OTR a good rule of thumb for jacket length is, when standing erect with arms by your side the hem of your jacket should be no longer than were the palm of your hand meets your middle finger. Although a lot of the time fashion dictates how short you should wear your jacket.

Puckering around pick stitching of lapels - how to fix?

I think you will find that when stretching the cloth the stitching will also get stretched. The cloth will shrink back to its former shape but the stitching will stay stretched.

Puckering around pick stitching of lapels - how to fix?

yes I have had this problem before and my solution has worked. Another tip would be, after steaming and stretching put a cold heavy object (cold iron) directly on to puckered area.

    Is this basting?

If it is criss crossed on the pockets it is basting - REMOVE IT. If it is only on the edge of the pocket and lapel it is AMF (artificial machine finish) DON'T REMOVE

Puckering around pick stitching of lapels - how to fix?

The puckering could be that the stitching is too tight. Try steaming the puckered area and lightly stretch the fabric to ease the stitching.
