what can you "afford" to spend?

A few years ago, "afford" equaled "want". If I wanted it bad enough, it went on credit. Now that I'm older and wiser, if I want something bad enough, I have to save up here and there and then I'll buy it. It really has nothing to do with my income.

Is this an orphaned suit jacket, sports coat or a blazer?

It appears to be an orphan, but it is possible that it is not an orphan and rest of the suit gave it up so it could lead a better life. Lol...I can just picture the tearful farewell.

What kind of shirts do you wear with a blazer?

and please no button-down collar that's for nerds. make sure shirt tail is NOT, repeat NOT tugged in, to give it the proper casual flair. Nothing wrong with a polo button down at all, it's actually quite perfect for the OP's given scenario. Being tucked or not depends on his personal...

    Recommendation for carry-on luggage

That's funny because I travel twice a week for work and I am planning to replace my current carry-on luggage. Which carry-on product and brand would you guys recommend? And from where can I buy one? Budget is not a problem as far as the product is value for money.

best way to take care of shirts? how often to wash and keep collars clean??

I've always had problems with ring around the collar. The only thing that has ever worked for me on the tough ones was using Murphy's Oil wood cleaner. Got out the toughest collar stains. Now, I just wash them every other wear.

Prince Michael of Kent and his jacket

How does one's suit even fray in that area? Especially considering his rotation must be ridiculous. Sounds like this is a purposely worn out suit that he dons for specific occasions.
