Gustin Chino Short - Olive & Khaki - Size 32 - DO NOT NEED TO BUY BOTH

Two Brand New Pair of Gustin Chino Shorts - DO NOT NEED TO BUY TOGETHER Ordered two pairs of Gustin shorts in size 32. One in Olive and one in Khaki. Just got them in the mail and unfortunately they do not fit at all. This is mainly due to the thigh size. I'm 5'11", 175 and have fairly...

PSA - Amazon has AE Hales - $165-$180

Got these last week in Chili...beautiful shoe. I definitely wouldn't use the term "blobby" as some other members use to describe AEs. It's a very sleek shoe IMO.

Old timers - tell me about fashun before the internet

What's your definition of an old-timer? If it's me, then the answer to your first three questions are no, no and no. As for the internet questions, before the internet we discovered new designers by popping the trunk on some dood's car in the Sears parking lot and rifling through the shopping...

EDIT: Just purchased some Kiehl's product to start my trial and error

Hahah yea, that wasn't a joke. Is there something that I'm missing out on? or is this really really damaging to my skin? My father never taught me how to shave, and when I first did it, I DID use shaving cream, but after a while, I just got lazy and used water, and it seemed to work...

EDIT: Just purchased some Kiehl's product to start my trial and error

Hello everyone, I was doing a search on ZIRH's products to see if there were any reviews, and I was brought to this forum. I'm pretty overwhelmed by all the different products and brands out there for men. This is actually my first time purchasing skin care products for myself, as it was never a...

    Sonicare?

Well, I gave into peer pressure and just picked up the top-of-the-line Sonicare Flexcare RS940 with the UV sanitizer. Never thought I'd see the day I'd spend $120 on a goddamn toothbrush. You'll definitiely be happy you got this. I have the same model and it's great, however, I got mine on...

    Damaged my shoes?

Agree with above. Definitely start with conditioner. Apply, let dry and re-apply. Still not sure about the color problem you have, but at least that will help with the 'check marks'

    Damaged my shoes?

Hard to tell without pictures. If you have actual cracks in the leather, you're probably in trouble. Definitely get a shoe conditioner and use that if you haven't already. Your problem seems to be more with discoloration, which I'm not sure how to fix. At this point it may be best to take your...

    Fragrance Top 10

+1 on the Erolfa. It's about the only "marine" scent I really like/ wear regularly (like you, I like them to be less "clean" and more pronounced). Nevertheless, the hint of brine in the Erolfa keeps it from feeling to detergent-clean. Anyway, if you tend to like those kind of "older" scents and...

I just checked it out on Basenotes - I'm definitely intrigued! Is it a hard fragrance to find?

My wife also purchased the shower gel for me recently, and when we last stopped in the Kiehl's store, I purchased the Original Musk fragrance. She later told me that had I not purchased it, she would have bought it for me. She says out of all my fragrances, that this is her favorite so far. I...

Well, it looks like I have a new "go to" for my fragrance questions. Thanks for all of the tips!

    Fragrance Top 10

Yes, someone posted earlier that Blenheim Boquet was one of their favorites. I find this to be a wonderful "old-time" scent! It's citrusy, so it certainly can't be compared to Kiehl's Original Musk, but it's still an old, good scent.

Will do - thanks for the tip. Anyone have any opinions on Kiehl's Original Musk? My wife recently purchased the shower gel for me and I'm still unsure of it. Maybe it's my relative infamiliarity with musks, or just that I find it so....different, for lack of a better word.

Smell it first; Guerlain Vetiver is very different from Creed OV. Though Creed puts "Vetiver" in the name, it is much sweeter and less "green" than a lot of Vetiver's on the market. The OV is more like the Mugler, but not the Guerlain. I'm surprised Creed OV is being mentioned here. I have...

    Smart "modern" formal shoes?

I like the Zegnas the best. Another option (for winter) is a Chelsea Boot. Very sleek and modern looking.

    Tea

This, a thousand times this. I've had good luck from the folks over at Arbor Tea; prices are reasonable and knowledge is pretty solid. It takes maybe an extra fifteen seconds on top of bagged tea to clean out a filter, but can taste so much better... and it's easier to fine-tune the dosage. I...

(Old) Ask a Question, Get an Answer - please ask all quick questions here

Calculating it now comes out to the $4 dollars, it wasn't set, I don't know how it could be wrong if it based it on my location. I might just roll over on it though. The seller made a mistake....and whatever the calculator is telling you (i.e. $4) is probably less than it's actually going to...

(Old) Ask a Question, Get an Answer - please ask all quick questions here

Two words: GET. MEASUREMENTS. Will certainly do that! Obviously a 33/32 jean by x manufacturer will not necessarily be the same size as a 33/32 jean by y manufacturer. As my wife tells me, buying a size 6 under one label doesn't mean it will fit her with another label. As an example on my end...

(Old) Ask a Question, Get an Answer - please ask all quick questions here

I'm looking at a pair of RRLs on ebay. My size for non-raw jeans is 33/32. The RRLs in question are labeled as 33/32, semi raw/dry and sanforized (pre-shrunk). Do RRL's fit true to size (i.e. if I fit in a 33/32 non-raw jean, will I be good with these)?
