Agree with above. Definitely start with conditioner. Apply, let dry and re-apply. Still not sure about the color problem you have, but at least that will help with the 'check marks'- Chicago Guy

Hard to tell without pictures. If you have actual cracks in the leather, you're probably in trouble. Definitely get a shoe conditioner and use that if you haven't already. +1 on the Erolfa. It's about the only "marine" scent I really like/ wear regularly (like you, I like them to be less "clean" and more pronounced). Yes, someone posted earlier that Blenheim Boquet was one of their favorites. I find this to be a wonderful "old-time" scent! It's citrusy, so it certainly can't be compared to Kiehl's Original Musk, but it's still an old, good scent.- Chicago Guy

Smell it first; Guerlain Vetiver is very different from Creed OV. Though Creed puts "Vetiver" in the name, it is much sweeter and less "green" than a lot of Vetiver's on the market. Two words: GET. MEASUREMENTS. Will certainly do that! Obviously a 33/32 jean by x manufacturer will not necessarily be the same size as a 33/32 jean by y manufacturer. I'm looking at a pair of RRLs on ebay. My size for non-raw jeans is 33/32. The RRLs in question are labeled as 33/32, semi raw/dry and sanforized (pre-shrunk). Do RRL's fit true to size (i.e. if I fit in a 33/32 non-raw jean, will I be good with these)?- Chicago Guy
