    Were 54" laces long enough for you? I tried out laces from my Indys which also 54" and found them to be too short. Can barely tie it and ended up with the tiniest loops. Could just be my fat feet need longer laces.

    Unlined natural chromexcel chukka on HOK Please excuse the potato quality of my picture. I don't normally take pictures of my shoes. Any tips appreciated lol. One thing I'm finding with Meermin is that their laces suck.

    I have a pair of the natural chromexcel unlined chukka in hok lasts. Haven't gotten to wear them outside yet but they fit tighter than my hok cordovan boots. I have to use thin socks. I'm sure they'll stretch out a bit being that they're chromexcel.

    That kind of looks like cordovan bloom. Have you given them a good brushing? Either way, I think that's a great price for some beater cordovan boots. I would have jumped on that deal if I had seen it.
