Some questions on the fit - does the 2030 feel a bit loose for you (talking about width only)? Also, is the 2020 narrower than 2030 everywhere? I thought the forefoot was about the same but it was narrower in the waist and a snug fit in the arch.- Sorrento

In the photos it looks like the the Shinki horsebutt is lined. Most of the horsebutt I've seen from other tanneries is quite thick and the boots are unlined. Maybe that's why they are more comfortable?- Sorrento

I agree that brown is significantly darker. Also, to my eye the brown is slightly red in tone while the natural is slightly yellow in tone. You could definitely get both, although you should also consider whether it makes more sense to get something completely different like black.- Sorrento

That's a good point - rugged materials should be matched with rugged lasts and refined leathers (like calf, deer and others) look better on more elegant/slim lasts like the 2030 or 2020.- Sorrento
