    I have Vegano leather from Carmina and is sensitive polishes and leather balms that contain stronger solvents. the leather is not painted at the tannery and color is not very durable, so extra care is required.

    Regarding the Hok/Rod sizing discussion: Rod insole will get thinner with wear, allowing for more volume, but in my experience it will never reach the Hok volume, it will always feel smaller. For ex. I bought Rod boots in 8 UK and using another very thin insole it fits like Hok 7.5UK volume...
