Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

I have Vegano leather from Carmina and is sensitive polishes and leather balms that contain stronger solvents. the leather is not painted at the tannery and color is not very durable, so extra care is required.

Try Llubi. I have the same issues with shoes, my toes need more space, but my foot is rather normal. Llubi is a comfortable last. The instep may be a a bit lower. Based on my research, Soller would the only last that is worth a try for myself. I have not tried any other lasts from Carmina...

Regarding the Hok/Rod sizing discussion: Rod insole will get thinner with wear, allowing for more volume, but in my experience it will never reach the Hok volume, it will always feel smaller. For ex. I bought Rod boots in 8 UK and using another very thin insole it fits like Hok 7.5UK volume...

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

Please please, what are you impressions about fit? Customer support told me it fits wider than Hok. I need a bit of more space in the toe area versus Hok. Hok 7.5 UK fits perfect in length and heel area.

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

I ordered once Carmina boot from the outlet. the printed size was 7.5, but they were definitely 8 or 8.5. Carmina took them back on my shipping cost. Afterwards they refunded me in full since they probably they noticed there is a genuine problem with the boots. I mention that I wrote them about...

The boots look quite wide in the picture. What's you feeling so far? Can you compare with the other lasts like Hok or Rod?

TLB MALLORCA - OFFICIAL AFFILIATE THREAD - Advice, sizing and reviews

Hello, Please advise on what is the last with the widest toe box? I have a normal foot, but thicker and longer fingers. To get an idea: - Meermin: Hok last in 7.5 is not confortable, although I can wear them. I sized up in Rod at 8UK and fits well in terms of toe box width, although slightly...

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

@GuyLab I have Hok in 7.5. The fit is good overall, but my wide-ish toes make it uncomfortable for my pinky toe. It gets squeezed/pinched just a little. Meermin advertise Negon as wider and flatter is in the toe are. This sounds exactly what I would need considering my Hok experience. Do you...

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

I have Chelseas in Hok 7.5 UK. I usually wear 41.5 or 8.5 US. I think they are true to size, a bit on the generous side, but not big. My problem with Hok is that I have longer toes on my right foot which cause pinching on the side. Left foot is perfect. And Meermin's are hard, they either work...

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

A similar solution from Collonil (Collonil Leather Cream) did the same thing. They contain solvents. I have spots on my vegano burgundy shoes. Same happened with shoes from another brand built with crust leather, painted at the factory, not the tannery. Use only your tried and trusted leather...

    Clarification on Church's binder leather

I am asking because people use this word but actually use different things, like nail varnish which may not contain acetone.

@Tandrash what kind of acetone did you use and how difficult was it?

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

I am tempted by this campaign because Llubi last fits my foot very well and they don't stock in this last. A nice pair of chukka boots is missing from my collection. Can you guys share nice and creative chukka models you ordered over time from Carmina? Thanks
