Cool Eyewear, not sunglasses in NYC

"touchy" tailor
I was recently fitted for a suit and while the tailor was sizing me up I'm pretty sure he touched that "private area." Is this normal? Should I complain to the company that hired him? If he is a good tailor in the tradition of the old Saville Row craftsmen, he'll know that the correct practice...- djf881

George Will: Denim is the Devil
I don't understand what Will poses as an alternative to denim. Cotton chinos? Wool trousers? Denim is machine washable, relatively difficult to stain noticeably, and doesn't have to be ironed. Do the fattest people in the world look appreciably better if you dress them in khakis?- djf881

Heh. I'm not too keen on the Deep Sea. I do also have this. It probably gets about 75% of my wrist time. This is what I wear. Gilt Main Event Fallout - What did you get?
I got some travota stuff that was marked down to $25-$30. It's kind of a cool label. There definitely was not as much good stuff this time around as at their last big sale. What is the point of watch deployment clasps?
The Portuguese is very casual. So are most Zenith. But, for example, a tourbillon on a deployant is a faux pas. A tourbillon is a faux pas on anything but a pocket watch, imo.- djf881
