    Sometimes JMM will find an old frame socked away, or receive a NOS pair if part of a shipment was rejected or got held up. If they're not trying to keep it for the vault or something, they'll call their good accounts and see who wants it.

    If you've held genuine JMMs and these don't feel off, I'd bet they're real. I have a really hard time believing you could pass off a fake once in-hand.

    The leather sleeve tends to be a dead giveaway. The border should be darker around the outside of the stitching.

    I'm in the same boat as you with the other frames - Dealan's a bit too small, but Fellini and Ichikawa feel pretty solid after adjustments. Jeff is my best fitting frame out of the thicker acetate models. Rawlins fits me pretty well. Temples are nice and long so you have a good range for...

    I also strongly disagree with this. I think Akila represents a much better value for your dollars than JMM. Are they going to be as nice? Absolutely not. But you get a heck of a lot of frame for much, much less than a JMM frame.

    I hate that I feel like I want to keep most of my frames, even those I don't wear often. I still bought them because I ultimately loved the styles and it scratched an itch no other brand did. I feel like I'm going to have to dig deep to find another brand that excites me as much.
