The issue is the fundamental disagreement about whether an undershirt is appropriate for hot days. The hotter it is, the less likely I would be to wear one, and I live in a very hot and humid place. Slubby cloth
Any idea of what kind of cloth this is? Dupioni? Do any all wools come in a slub texture? I have a few pairs of trousers the cloth of which looks very like this. They are a light wool/linen blend - cooler in summer than wool alone. I suspect the cloth in the image is something similar. TD- tokyodandy

I'm in Shanghai, and I believe the climate is similar. I simply wear a polo and shorts in the summer, but I've been having the problem of having my boxers getting drenched, and am considering switching to briefs. Nevertheless, pretty much every guy I see in the summer in a coat and tie on a hot day is dressed exactly in the same clothes that he might wear in the fall and winter. No, really. With the right getup this tie can be rocked spectacularly. My choice, of course, would be a pindot tie, but whatever. He asked us for help and is a self-proclaimed dandy. Foster & Son shoe quality
Can someone follow-up on the quality of Foster & Son RTW. I just spoke with them today, and they emailed me quite a few photos of shoes, many of which, to be honest , were not all that impressive. How many wearing before you launder your...
Underwear/socks/shirts - once Pants - depends on whether they're wool or cotton, how hot it was when I wore them, what I did, etc. Generally every 3-4 wears. +1. I can't wear shirts twice. Even if you haven't sweated much, what about the wrinkles that inevitably appear by the end of the day? TD- tokyodandy

Pediwear - disappointing delays, twice
They've responded to all my queries - I think you have to be a little proactive w/them. Can you tell which of these suits is $300 which is $1500?
If the pictures were a bit larger, perhaps. How close does one need to be? Doesn't this topic suggest that, for 99% of people, the difference between a $300 suit and a $1,500 suit is inconsequential? TD- tokyodandy
