    They're a light tan. I think the bright sunlight made them look lighter than they are in the picture.

    I prefer the Alden boot as well, especially the stitching. In my opinion, the Wolverine moc toe is too narrow and the lines run too close together. The Alden stitching is definitely more my style, the leather is far more substantial, and definitely feels like a superior built boot. The Wolverine...

    I like the raised stitching moc toe on the 1940. The Indy boots I've seen have been regular stitching. The Tanker boots looks like it might be a nice alternative too.
