I haven't tried them. I do wear a 7.5 uk in Crockett and Jones last 376 if that helps.

What are your thoughts on black tassel loafers? I've been considering getting a pair, maybe in shell cordovan. During the week I mostly wear trouser/sport coat combinations with the occasional casual suit. @dieworkwear has a pretty good article about them here...

I wouldn't call it better, just different. Cavalry twill wears a little cooler, and the texture is smoother than flannel. The texture really depends on the fabric though. I have cavalry twill from O'Connell's and Rota; the O'Connell's are smooth with a slight sheen while the Rota's are more of a...

The lucchese store is a few minutes away from my office so I stopped by after work and tried a few pairs on. I really like that grey suede. These side zipped Chelsea's made a thunk when I tried them on. They felt really nice. I would have got a pair if it weren't for the NMWA preorders. They...

I'm seriously considering buying some cowboy boots after your last article. I do live in Texas, so it wouldn't be out of place. https://www.lucchese.com/shop/boots/livingston/N1699.74

I have a pair of belgravia loafers with a rubber sole and don't really notice it, besides softer footfalls. If that makes sense.

Frans Boone store has a decent selection. They don't charge VAT tax if you're from the US, so you can save a little money. Although I could never figure out how import duties work. I ordered a pair from Cavour a few months back and no duties were charged and the EG official website, the only...

I made a trip to my tailor and he showed me some bunches he just got. These fabrics are beautiful. Even though I have a blue checked jacket already, I'm seriously considering having another made.

When you wear a shirt that ends at the wrists unbuttoned with a jacket it will get sucked up into the sleeves of the jacket. I made that mistake with the first couple mtm shirts I had made and I rarely wear them. You can always cut fabric off but can never add it.

I think anything under $800 is duty free, though I may be mistaken about that. I ordered a pair from Cavour and tracking says they are on their way with no duty fees. I hope they dont charge me when I pick them up.

Anyone know how the 184 last compares to the 137 or 202 lasts? 8/8.5 in the 202 fits perfect on me and the same size in the 137 feels slightly looser. I'm thinking of getting a pair of mink suede piccadilly loafers.
