Decisions, decisions...The earth ones with dark eyelets and speed hooks (not brass) seem like the slightly dressier option. I basically live in dark denim and occasionally chinos so the dark brown was a better match for my usage!- giorgioorwell

Anyone have personal experience between the fit on the original Connaught and the Connaught II on it's slightly different last? I have a fairly narrow heel, wide forefoot, high instep, and a generally low volume foot. With C&J's the best fit I have achieved thus far has been the Chiltern boot...- giorgioorwell

What a crapshoot the sizing is with RRL jeans when you order online! I have owned one pair that measured as tagged and on their site, but maybe that was a fluke. In the slim fit, Selvedge Once Washed and "Rinse" Washes, I've now encountered inseams 2 and half inches longer than tagged two...- giorgioorwell

Ah, tough choice. They do need to add a model to the range, which would be gardener with a comfort inner sole and keeping the gardener treaded sole..but a good pair of padded wool socks, like the medium pad woolrich will almost mimic the comfort inner sole. Gardener has a leather insole, same as All Rounder...I've got the Comfort Turnout and the Gardener, and the Gardener insole/sole combo is nowhere more as comfortable as the Comfort, more utilitarian.
