    Jaguar XK - Any Experience?

Have you considered an Audi S5 - beautiful, practical, powerful, and you don't see them everywhere. If I were in the market for a 4-seat coupe, the S5 would be high on my list. Why not wait and get a Porsche Panamera?

    Jaguar XK - Any Experience?

I've never even heard of the car....but it looks amazing. There were only 50 made (by TWR for Jaguar) and they were run in a one make race series before several F1 races in the early 90's. Cost of the cars was GBP 500k each and the winner of the final race took home $1 million.

    Jaguar XK - Any Experience?

I was just reading about the massive power boost XKR's will receive in 2010 (510hp), that's essentially DBS territory. However, if money was no object, the DBS would still be decoration of choice for my driveway. If you are looking for a 500 bhp Jaguar need to do what a friend of mine is, get...

    Vanquish or Continental GT

"Next you're going to tell me leasing a sports car ISN'T a good investment!" - Tracey Jordan (30 Rock) Depends on what you lease. If you had leased a Ferrari Enzo when they were first introduced, you would be up a few $100k.

Most desirable 4-door in the next 5 years...

They're all impressive because they're made by companies that focus on construction, design, materials and performance, but I'd rather get the pedigree 2-door 9/11, Aston, or Lambo instead of a four-door. Maybe it's just me. Most would. Porsche is going after the affulent owner with kids. They...

Most desirable 4-door in the next 5 years...

The current crop of 4-door sedans made from stretched two-door sports coupes isn't doing it for me. This is impressive though: http://www.panaoc.com/forums/panamera-videos-t9.html

Most desirable 4-door in the next 5 years...

+1, although the interior design, dash layout and electronics could use some improvement. It is until it leaves you stranded or you get the first service bill with a list of all the "small" items that need to be taken care of.

Most desirable 4-door in the next 5 years...

The Maser wins with the Aston a close second. The others aren't even close imo. Yes but in terms of build quality and performance, I would have to go with the Porsche Panamera: http://www.panaoc.com/forums/driving-panamera-t49.html

Mercedes S65 or Bentley Continental GT?

It looks worse than ass, it's one of the ugliest cars currently produced No, that award would have to go to the Cayenne.

Mercedes S65 or Bentley Continental GT?

Yep, a complete package of luxury and high performance. Wait and get the new Porsche Panamera. It will handle much better. Couple of good reviews: http://www.panaoc.com/forums/early-r...ml?p=25#post25

    Vanquish or Continental GT

Looking at prices, for about the same amount you can pick up either a 02-04 Vanquish or a 04-06 Bentley Continental GT. Which would make the better daily driver ? Maintenance costs ? Major issues to look for when buying ?

Driving a Ferrari 430 Scuderia in the Alps

A friend of mine is close to buying one of these. I can't wait to see it. It is an awesome piece of kit. Drove one on a track day a few months ago. Fantastic.

    Domaine de la Romanee-Conti

Is a good Domaine de la Romanee-Conti really worth the premium over a fine Bordeaux ? http://www.ferrarilife.com/library/d...type=flq&id=92 Page 34. Personally I would not spend the extra $$$.

    Ferraris & Lambos in London

On Sunday, a whole bunch of Ferraris and Lambos drove right through the middle of London. It was quite a scene. A few more pictures: http://www.ferrarilife.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8012

New Ferrari GT, teaser online ...

The problem with the 612 is that it looks bloated and heavy--almost boat-like. To my mind, the only curent Ferrari that is beautiful without qualificaiton is the F430. I completely agree. The 612 is a very compromised design. The 599 GTB is a far more focused car but even that makes exceptions...

    Recommend a car for me.

They are not Ferraris, but driven at high speeds, they can be rather fun with that swing axle suspension and large amounts of chrome; some did have manual transmissions. Agree, the manuals with the larger 8 cylinder engines can be fairly sporting.

    Ferrari 430 vs Lambo Gallardo

Why did you have to mention the GTB's and GTO's...such beautiful cars. ......I completely forgot the F40's were 8 cyl's And fairly small engine sizes by US standards (just under 3 liters). Depending on the tuning an F40 will output 480-750 horsepower. Given that they only weight about 2300lbs...
