Dacks and other Canadian shoe brands
How did these turn out? I ordered a pair but ended up returning them. Significant loose grain on one of the boots. Not normally very picky buy you could feel the outer layer floating above the rest of the hide. The good boot was gorgeous, though!- whirlwynds

Agree. I’m not sure if the insole is present on the service boots. May just be a thinner sole. It’s the combo of the foam insole/midsole plus the vibram gumlite that makes the Ellison so comfy.- whirlwynds

Rimowa - Anyone Have Experience With the Limbo or Topas?
Second this. I owned three topas, the large suitcase, medium suitcase, and sports trunk. Briggs and Riley or Travelpro Platiunum Elite more functional and cheaper with better warranty. Bottom line, rimowa is too expensive, but moreover too HEAVY for the capacity.- whirlwynds

Don’t waste your money. Any traveling tailor can’t fit in enough fittings to make it worthwhile. Furthermore it’s just salespeople traveling so the measurements and markings are never communicated accurately to the shop.- whirlwynds

It's hard to find good quality, made in Canada clothing. This is made in Canada (montreal) and full canvas. Even harder to find at this price point. If it fits, I would buy it. If you want to save another 5-10% you can try to buy used gift cards at a discount. DO IT!- whirlwynds
