I live in Finland where it gets really cold, so my warm and cold may differ from most people. :) No experience on these kind of jackets from Uniqlo. Down jackets from there are reasonably warm. Probably warmer than these heattech ones.

https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/special-feature/collaboration/uniqlo-and-engineered-garments Surprise EG collaboration! Utility jacket and fishtail coat both look great. Shame they are also polyester filled so no warmth, but both probably have plenty of space for layering. I like them both… damn.

Totally agree. Offtopic but I have a very "puffy" Carhartt parka which has polyester filling and that jacket is totally worthless when temperatures drop below freezing. i only use it when doing yard work and moving snow away from my driveway. I also have Uniqlo ultra warm down parka from 6-7...

https://www.uniqlo.com/jp/ja/contents/collaboration/uniqlo-u/23fw/common/imgs/lookbookMen/lookbook-18.webp?1695013130181 Bought everything from this look. Fleece suit is very nice! Fleece itself is very coarse(?) in a way and wool like. Definately can wear trousers and jacket as separates like...

True. Womens suiting does look "masculine". I am little hesitant on ordering it because returning will cost me 30 - 40 euros. :) For all other pieces I know my sizing. Wool knits do look great but I have good ones already...

https://www.uniqlo.com/jp/ja/contents/collaboration/uniqlo-u/23fw/men/ Japanese page has more pictures and fabric contents. Weird thing to me is that twill shirts are completely polyester and nylon. Not a fan of synthetics in shirts myself. After closer second look the knitted over shirt...

That fleece jacket looks nice. Similar to EG collab few years ago, and my EG fleece has seen a lot of use during covid. Might cop that aswell. Waiting for U lineup. Those button down flannes also look nice. Dont really need any flannels though...

Thanks for great review again! Really helpful. Why did you not try pleated chinos? Did they feel bad or just not your style..?

Some UU pieces are still really good value for money, but the amount of good stuff is decreasing. Knits are mostly plastic etc. I miss wide chinos from 2 or 3 seasons back. Would buy more of available. Sure UU stuff is not for everyone. Also prices of the special collabs have gone much higher...

I think designs are kinda boring as well this season. Shirts and trousers are also 10 euros more expensive this season than previous ones. Will wait for sale and reviews with honest fit pics.

Happy I returned the +J long hooded coat when collection came out because now I bought it for 39 euros instead of 149 euros. Also bought UU jean jacket and jeans and jwa cap which were also heavily (over 70 %) discounted. Ordered also +J cashmere overcoat (50 % off) since I dont have a ”formal”...

I like the jacket (milano?) from the first pic and trousers with front pocket give me EG vibes. This preview had much better pics
