Ultraviolet sneaks...the black cup sole makes them very sneaky...hard to tell they're even sneakers unless viewing them from the side. With a little sunshine they really shine. Leaning in to the look, if it's worth doing it's worth overdoing, I always say.- pbrandes

One other thing worth checking is in which size does the ball of your foot align with the widest part of the shoe. I find for me that is more important for a good fit than extra space in front of toes.- pbrandes

For UV snell I preferred a black welt to the mandatory natural, which left only one option. I realize I'm stepping over a line here, but the sole wants what the sole wants... Besides, I doubt I'd pair this color with anything dressier than jeans or chinos... I think they're sufficiently...- pbrandes

Dark brown laces with green shell is a classy combination, it nicely picks up the welt color. My suggestion would be to resist any green laces that don't perfectly match the shoe color, they will just look off.- pbrandes

My chili Lexington cap toes (purchased circa 2022) are definitely on the 65 last, fit is nothing like my shell Leeds or Dundees. I bought them because they're 65, much better fitting than 511 for me.- pbrandes

Does anyone else think the Park Avenue Derby looks suspiciously like the old Lexington, dusted off and rebranded? Even has the same stitching.
