Allen Edmonds Shell cordovan shoe cream
A little late on this but I tried the AE cordovan shoe cream the other day and had the same experience. Pasty, gummy goo that dried tacky and had to be removed with naphtha. Has anyone use Leatherique on their shoes?
Just used it on a pair of Allen Edmonds Sturgis motorcycle boots. Excellent result. I don't believe this stuff waterproofs the shoe but it does a great job of nurturing the leather and bringing out the best. Only downside is the price-$50 for 2 16oz bottles (conditioner and cleaner)- Bobhobard
