    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

Thanks both for this suggestion, which is certainly sensible. I've mentioned some of the issues with style, but I've had a few problems with the quality, too: this isn't something I wear terribly often, but I've been surprised by the repairs I've had to have done it - from general wear and tear...

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

Thanks for your comment. I see the information about Lai elsewhere on this forum (http://www.styleforum.net/t/33568/the-hong-kong-tailors-thread/2295#post_7821726). To be honest would much prefer an outing to SSP. I guess my concerns about a smaller-name tailor (which doesn't say anything...

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

I have to say, this is the kind of comment that makes me nervous about ever buying tailored clothing! This doesn't sound like a very positive experience. Price is still an issue, however, I don't mind paying more for a good investment. Thanks for the encouragement. I wouldn’t say...

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

I would really like some advice about my approach to getting a suit made in Hong Kong, before I move back to the UK at the end of the month. I’m a bit scared of making this big purchase, and don’t really know anyone irl who can offer any advice. On the matter. I’m sorry if what I’m looking for...
