    I have an old Beaufort with many holes. The repair at Barbour is more than a new jacket. Has anyone tried patching theirs? I brought it to a tailor and they said they wouldn’t do it. I think they just didn’t want to though.

    Love the denim shirts but anytime I buy one they always get ring around the collar much quicker than a regular dress shirt and look bad with the fading. Would that happen less if I got them dry cleaned instead of putting them in the wash?

    Hard to find all cotton corduroy without sheen. Prl used to have them but now they have stretch. I have a pair from spier and Mackay. Good quality I forgot which mill but still has the sheen.

    I only waterproof with spray when I first get a pair. Suede shoes do better in the rain than you think.

    I always thought it was the opposite. Seems like the longer nap is on my higher quality suede shoes. The shorter is on meermin and can even be seen on shoes from Aldo.

    I have a pair of flannel single pleat pants that I wish were a little wider at the bottom. I remember someone saying that they had a tailor widen the leg a bit. Is this worth it and is it expensive to do? Mine already are cuffed so I don’t know if it would be worth it.

    What’s the deal with jetted pockets? Isn’t it better to just make flap pockets and tuck them in if you want the jetted look? That way you have the option.
