new Yoox codes and sales - post them here

Just to add my 2 cents in here --- Tagliatore quality can vary widely -- generally half-canvassed (but like many mid-market producers in Italy, have the ability to do fused and full canvassed), and generally very slim-fitting and fashion-forward as noted above. However, I can attest to all...

new Yoox codes and sales - post them here

As annoying as it sounds, with most items on Yoox, you would do best to simply purchase the item and see how it fits. This is best done by buying a bunch of items at once (up to 7 per order; 10 if you're a "Superstar) and taking advantage of the free shipping and flat $6.95 return fee. On most...

    BAGNOLI Sartoria Napoli

The request was kind of a wild goose chase regarding a different brand I fell in love with that looks like it is produced by Bagnoli. Currently slated for Fall are suits/blazer/coats from Fugato/Papa & Sons, some Royal Hem items, and hopefully some high end pants (trying to get in touch with a...

    BAGNOLI Sartoria Napoli

Apologies for resurrecting a dead threat w/a weird request -- but if anyone has a Bagnoli blazer sitting around, any chance you can take a pic of the inside label (the white label w/fabric content), and post or PM? Much thanks in advance :)

Re: Pennesi -- it's made by a company called Copen Group out of CIvitanova, the same company that makes the Royal Hem line (www.royalhem.it). We carry a lot of their merchandise, and it is generally all very slim fitting, though, the Pennesi line can sometimes vary. If you're purchasing a...

new Yoox codes and sales - post them here

Re: Messagerie -- It's what is referred to in Italy as "Total Look" -- it's a designer label that does everything from casual to formal wear, and does the full line (pants, shirts, shoes, blazers, suits, sweaters, etc...), as opposed to the brand of a specific manufacturer that only makes...

Ha, well I'm a bit biased....cough, check the sig block., cough....but it depends what you're looking for. Leaving the brands we carry aside for one moment, if you're still looking for a very slim fit, but something slightly better made, try Filomarino (which has some slightly more classic...

Sad to say, but I'd tend to agree on the suits and blazers. If you can find something very cheap, and are a really skinny guy, you'll probably be fine, but they're not worth much. The leather jackets and shoes from the brand aren't too bad, and the shirts vary a bit in quality.

The Definitive Guide to Slim Fit Shirts

Thanks for the shout out. In case it means anything to some folks, our current stock of shirts, other than those from Culturata, is made by Saitt, the same company that produces the Truzzi and Mastai Ferretti line of shirts. We import our shirts directly, and they are all made for the...

The Definitive Guide to Slim Fit Shirts

Just to put out a plug for our shirts -- PEURIST has a wide selection of slim fitting shirts made by the same company that makes Mastai Ferretti and Truzzi, all for $39.99. We promise these are some of the best fitting and best made shirts you will get at this price point. We have two fits...

Can't tell you about the details on the Reporter items beyond what I already know. As for the other two -- Michelangelo is an upper mid-market brand -- uses better fabrics, slightly better construction (http://www.michelangelospa.com/). Hilton is a brand owned by Tombolini, decent quality...

new Yoox codes and sales - post them here

I have some Gazzarrini tuxedos that will be available in a few weeks, but only a handful. If you're a size 38/48EU and like something a bit more fashion-forward, you're in luck. Reporter will run you how all Italian items should fit (I'm partial to a proper slim fit being a skinny guy...

new Yoox codes and sales - post them here

It's nice stuff, you just have to be careful with a lot of the Inghirami items, as they tend to make more classic cuts, and often produce for the Italian wedding market, which is why you'll see items with a lot of sheen and made out of viscose and the like. Glad to help out on any additional...

new Yoox codes and sales - post them here

Reporter is made by the folks at Inghirami -- they make, among other things, Ingram, San Remo, Inghirami, Reporter and Peter & Sons, and recently acquired the Robert Friedman shirt brand from Fabrys SRL. It is all made in Italy, mid-market construction and fabrics. Of their brands, leaving...

    Caruso, Made in Japan?

I believe they were both navy pinstripes, 44 or 46 US. I will grab some shots and post here if I stop back.

    Caruso, Made in Japan?

Just wanted to get confirmation on this -- happened to be browsing around a discount store in Philly today, and noticed a few suits marked 'Alfred Dunhill.' Was curious, as Dunhill items do not often appear in the States. Upon further inspection, the inside label indicated they were from F/W 05...
