Do you know if that shearling "vest" is detachable? I like that idea. Also, thanks for reviving the thread. I had given up on it.

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

I'm mostly interested in someone giving his opinion on the whole ordering process, sizing and overall quality, but I'm definitely looking forward to your opinion based on what you see on the website, Zamb.

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

Cross-posting this from the SAPAYOL thread https://www.styleforum.net/threads/sapayol-–-mtm-veg-tanned-leather-jackets-–-official-affiliate-thread.608185/page-2#post-9319524 I would love for someone with a good amount of (MTM) leather jacket experience to give his honest feedback about our...

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

As @Dingobattler mentioned, I think it would be worth looking into custom-tailored jackets. Falcon Garments has a few options and a lot of happy customers on this site (https://www.styleforum.net/t/507227), there's a Luxire/Styleforum collabo...

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

If you plan on wearing it with a sweater, I’d definitely recommend a 52. That jacket is cut extremely tight in the shoulders. I find the arm length better with the 50 tough.

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

That look from @nicelynice really is fantastic. I remember looking at that Margiela jacket a lot, because it has that simplicity that I like so much. The pockets in the side seam are a nice touch (cc @double00). The jacket just seemed a little too fitted around the waist for my taste and the...

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

It's not that Margiela is my point of reference, I was just trying to handle some Margiela jackets because Callusing is not a fan of their leather and I wanted to understand what he means and compare it to the leather I'm using. Good to know that there's already a lot of info on Layer-0. I...

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

Does anyone have experience with the label Layer-0? I've stumbled upon the brand today, while I was trying to find some Margiela jackets for @Callusing. I'm really impressed with the cuts, the leather and the details (particularly the stitching)...

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

If the leather jacket is not coated with color or a protective layer, you will immediately get a stain from water. It then depends on the quality of the tanning. If it's done right, the stain will just vanish once it's dry again. If not, the color "washes out". So check if the water stain...

Hi, I'm Eddie, I'm generally looking for expert opinions on my personal wardrobe and specifically interested in advice about a leather jacket company I'm trying to set up.
