They're highly tempting. $1800CAD with lenses is what's holding me back. I've also awful vision. I don't think field of view would be an issue, it just looks like a basic trapezius shape to me. I have anti-fatigue lenses, so reading at the bottom, and the rest of the lens for everything else.

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

Will keep in mind! I googled that movie. Wow that looks awesome, I'd rock that look. I've baggy khakis and I love wearing green fatigues. So it sounds like this shirt may be more versatile than I thought.

Awesome, because I'm hairy as hell. Maybe? Any pic examples?

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

Thinking of getting this shirt. Thoughts on pairings? I've some black jeans and black cowboy boots. May work for sexy or sleazy vibe. Sounds uncomfortable for summer though. I can't find any velour pants that'd fit my big thighs. Also have baggy poplin khakis, but ehhhh on that one. Would...

True. I may look into the Debbie. Very sharp and angular, but not huge.

Hmm, all of those fall into the P3 niche, I see them as similiar to Schindler. I'm looking for something that doesn't fall into any niche I already have. Prefer something bold, fun, and exciting.

Devaux is the same niche as Schindlers, Picabia look like a cross between Fellini and Dealan. Godard is ok, looks like my Schindlers smushed with Dealans. Wagrams are alright, a bit boring looking though.

@ anyone who remembers my face and fit pics, any recs for optical frames? just putting out a feeler, may not buy anything. I own Dealan, Fellini, Schindler, and an Akila shaped equivalent to PCH/Rodeo. The Edie crossed my mind, but I don't know if it would be too heavy. Fellinis are my...

Thanks DG. I think it had dark sunglasses lenses so it wouldn't have been that out there for me. Since I wear opticals, I ended up passing on that one. Edie with clear lenses may have looked odd. Though you have me second guessing, and I've been hankering for a new pair lately.

I can relate. The Belize model was just too big for me, even with a heavy beard. The biggest opticals I can wear are Fellinis, but even they're pushing it if my beard is short.

I think it looks sick. The beard volume helps a lot too. Love the bold extravagance. The overall look makes you seem really fun to be around. Reminds me of Casino and Elliot Gould

    SWD Discussion Thread for Tailoring

Awesome man. I see that the shirt is dry clean only? Is that how you cleaned the shirt? A bit hesitant to order when I saw that. On the other hand, the price is just low enough to where I'd risk washing it in the machine. Does it have a sheen in person?

    SWD Discussion Thread for Tailoring

Ah ok gotcha, thank you. The two I own are narrow pinstripe, barely perceptible, and another thicker one. Some of it looks easy enough to do. @clee1982 and others appear to do a mish mash of tailoring, western, and sleaze vibes. I bought a pair of black wranglers and black round toe western...

    SWD Discussion Thread for Tailoring

I looked it up, not sure of the difference between narrow width pinstripe and chalkstripe I dig this, exactly what I was looking for! This is pinstripe I think?

    SWD Discussion Thread for Tailoring

I put together a similiar outfit, thanks for inspo. My brain says it sucks though, orphaned suit jacket CM look due to mismatching tones. Would a mid-grey pinstripe jacket, black jeans, black dress cowboy boots look off?

    The Overcoat Thread

Unfortunately, it's perfect for my location. Fortunately, I've already bought 2 massive coats this year, so there's no justification I can come up with this one except for "I want it." Also, more coats mean I can appreciate and enjoy each individual coat less.

    The Overcoat Thread

That's an amazing coat. Full belted double breasted coats aren't common, and the pockets look different too. Nice big collar that you can flip up. Chest measurements sound nice and full.

Debbie by JMM comes to mind, but it's hard to find IMO I dig this one by Akila too https://akila.la/en-ca/collections/all-sunglasses/products/paradox-2204-01-01
