Official Customs, Duties, and International Shipping Questions and Stories Thread

The joys of being harassed by DHL four times in a day. Pay the 150 euros in "taxes" if you wish to receive your goods. Mind you, it appears that the couriers are simply making it up as they go along. And there also seems to be zero dialogue between the UK seller and courier company. Who would...

If you wish to turn the jeans up at the cuff as is de rigueur nowadays. I think 32" in seam would be your best bet. 30" would be too short for someone who is your height. For waist, it sounds like either a 32" or 33". From recollection, the 32" is quite generous.

Quite possibly. He unsuccessfully tried to buy what is now the Paul Smith flagship on Albemarle Street years ago so you could well be right. Nevertheless, a considerable outlay!

I would say the opposite. They are cost-cutting absolutely everywhere. There were quite a few Covid redundancies at Drake's as well as earlier and steeper sales discounting, which was not good for the brand. The elephant in the room is of course the inescapable, eye watering sunny side Savile...

Similar search here, jeans are difficult to get right, or perhaps they are not supposed to be right? I am not sure about the contrasted side stitching on the AI but the washes look excellent. I would be after some of the Orslow light wash but they have yet to introduce longer lengths.

The Anglo ones are made by Fralbo but their oxford fabric isn't as good as the PS OCBD. The PS Oxford fabric is exclusive and made by Canclini - think a really robust oxford fabric which fades nicely, similar to the old school OCBDs of the 50s and 60s. As you probably know, the OCBD from PS are...

You omit the inevitable offering from Herr Krafty in a washed azure to remind him of the skies above his provencale hovel post lockdown. I digress. The LA collars are high with or without the buttoning and hold up well under a sports jacket. For my two cents, I think that navy is the only...

They are very similar in terms of fabric and style. Probably made by LA lab as well but with plastic buttons. I doubt that Fralbo (their shirting manufacturer) makes them.

No pearl buttons at that price is taking the proverbial. Some of their pricing is crazy but clearly there is a market for cheap Loro/Barbour hybrids.
