    London bespoke casual shirts

One thing about Udeshi is that he has some rather wonderful runs of old deadstock cloths that he has sourced. Some are lovely and pretty unique. I didin't realise he has a minimum order of 8 on bespoke though:butbut:

Sartorial London: The Official Thread (UPDATED 9/6/2012)

Hope you have a great stay, Drakes is a great store and their ties account for about 80% of my collection now. For lovely casual clothing I really recommend Trunk Clothiers in Marylebone. It's a great store run by good people with a real passion for what they sell. Cleverley is a must too. The...

A Daily "Mens Clothing" and "Streetwear and Denim" Fit Comparison Thread

Nice idea, I like both to be honest. The YY look when done well is wonderful and Ivwri seems to have it nailed down here. It looks comfortable and most importantly he looks totally at ease. Shoes aside I really like it. The MC side is what it is. A simple well executed casual summer fit that...

    O'Mast Screening in London - Feb 2nd, Thursday 6.30pm

Sadly cannot make this due to family commitments. Mark was kind enough to to provide me with a copy at The Armoury trunk show here in London. A really charming film. Good luck with the screening.

    John Rushton shoes Wimpole Street

Agreed with all of the above. John is a great guy and the shop stocks a wide selection of keenly priced shoes. The Sanders range are great value. They are not going to worry the high end makers but the Bucks and casual boots are great value. I am pretty certain thy also make some of Mark...

    Edward green 202 last

Rather conservative and hardy sets hearts racing but the single most comfortable last I have ever worn.

What clothing/items should I buy while in Brazil?

I'd agree, with the above Brazil is great for stocking up on sportswear, and naturally beachwear. I have never seen too much tailored wear but then I don't head into the business districts too often. I am looking forward my first visit in a few years next month.

    Lodger Shoes?

Well they do have different width sizes in the English shoes because I have tried different widths on in the store, I cannot comment about width differences in the Italian range. I will admit I did not bother with the whole laser measuring as I trust my own instincts when trying on shoes and...

    Lodger Shoes?

I think that Lodger shoes represent a slightly expensive option at full retail. They are however a very well made and finished shoe and don't forget the lasted trees do add to the value. The styling is really a matter of taste as these things always are but good solid well made shoes.

    Suitsupply - cheap bespoke

I am a happy Suitsupply customer. Their suits are perfect for my work wardrobe. Don't expect anything amazing at the price but they are reasonably well made and the cuts are not too bad at all. Just need a little tweaking which can all be done in house for little extra cost. I have always found...

    Inverallan

Just got my 3a in he post today in red. Wonderful garment, not too long in the arm which is usually the problem for me. I had a good trawl through Rakuten to decide on style and colour and then ordered away. Customer service is great although everything is a little antiquated on the ordering...

Anyone have any experience with the Barbour-Tokito collabs?

Sorry can't comment on the one above. I have seen it in the flesh but a while ago. I have the winter bicycle jacket. Very happy with it. Usual quality for a Barbour.

    Crockett & Jones Tetbury sizing

I agree with the above I sized down 1/2 a size on the Tetbury I usually take a UK8.5 in the 348 but this felt huge.

    SF Meet Up - LONDON

I would be interested, again depending on date. As for Lodger was in there today some good bargains on a selection of styles. £100-£125 off certain shoes. Well worth a look. Think the offers extend until Easter Monday although don't quote me on that.

Panta: a first peek at a new high quality pants line

These look wonderful but if you think you have things bad in the US for RTW trousers you should count yourself lucky you don't live here in the UK. The market for trousers as a stand alone item of the wardrobe in anything other than about three colours seems to be the norm these days. Any wish...

Who Does Huntsman style M2M / Entry Level Bespoke?

I have a couple of MTM SC's from Udeshi in London which I feel follow the Huntsman aesthetic. Strong roped shoulders, single button and heavily waisted.

Can anyone recommend a cobbler in London?

I too would strongly recommnend popping the shoes in to John Ruston - he will be able to help you.

    Shell cordovan boots

I picked up the C&J Harlech recently and couldn't be happier. They are just starting to break in and already starting to develop some character.

    Porter x Monocle THREAK!

I have the Baby Boston and as mentioned above it is the perfect overnight bag. I actually quite like the olive colour much more than the black. A little overpriced yes but great quality.

The top five shops in London are...

I think it's a good idea to visit places that are unique to London as well as the usual suspects. Udeshi - Great clothes and a very interesting guy, Lodger - A newcomer on the shoe scene that doesn't have the heritage as yet but perhaps the best customer service I have encountered. Norton...
