Shoe Damage Report & Appreciation Central - Part I

Not sure in this is the right place for a damage question...but I have a pair of shoes that were in a checked bag that arrived with a little gouge in the heel. I had them polished but it is still driving me nuts. I was wondering if this kind of damaged can be minimized in any way?

    stylish eye glasses

I've had two pair of rimless and have not had any problems at all. By far my favorite pair is by Wolfgang Katzer--titanium frames that are so light you forget you're wearing them. I couldn't find an image of the ones I have--couldn't find much at all online for that mater--but here's a link to...

    Critique the fit please

Hey, I have a pair of Ike Nifus I get more compliments on than any jean I wear. I'm guessing those are Picklewagon's, $160--$180 rack rate? I wish they made an Ike Nifus in Raw. So I'm a Philistine...they fit me great. That's the kind of jean to wear when your going to watch a good game...

Why do you prefer the Curve to the 8830? The Curve is not currently an option on VZW, the 8830 is. Me, I like the keyboard on the curve better. The keys are shaped differently and are slightly raised. For me typing is easier and I make fewer mistakes. It also has a camera, while the WE does...

    Whiskey brands

Behind me right now are bottles of: 1792 Knob Makers Woodford Bakers Wild Turkey I'd add Booker's and Basil Hayden's to that list. But Blanton's is the Bourbon that stole my heart away from single malts. Unfortunately there is no bottle of it behind me now. I can't keep the stuff around. Knob...

10 Reasons why you shouldn't buy a Macbook Air

Perhaps I should preface the following by saying I could really care less what computer anyone uses or what anyone thinks about my computer. I'll steer clear of the jihad. I use both platforms but prefer macs--just because. I bought the air. My review thus far is a little mixed: Good Size...
