Really? I'm quite surprised with that. 41 sounds way too big. I wear the exact same size as you Joe in the 325 last, and if you can still wear thick socks, you can definitely fit in a size 39.5 F last. This is the same size as @wurger I believe. It's up to you really. Personally I wouldn't mind it as leather is quite forgiving once you wear them. Creases will form and it won't be as noticeable.- hazwanazani
