Took a few items to Thomas Tillman Bespoke for alterations last year. He's not cheap, but he has a great eye for what needs to be done while also taking into account what is/isn't "worth it". He also likes to explain construction details. Perhaps not the best tailor for simple alterations or...- g2x222

Back with another suit, and I’ll probably have a few more this weekend… Thoughts on jacket length? I’m 5’6” with a ~31-32” inseam, and the jacket measures about 29” from the base of the collar. Nice recommendation, I wasn't familiar with Cavour. Unfortunately, it seems that only the high twist (I'm guessing this means fresco?) fabric is available in 36; I'm not sure this will work for a late fall wedding in the northeast (indoors though...)- g2x222

Thanks for the feedback! Any thoughts on the fit beside than the length? The suit I wear most regularly (for weddings) is Suitsupply, so admittedly, I'm used to the aggressively slim and cropped style (pic attached). Yes, the sizes you mentioned are correct - 46EU/36US jacket with 35” pants (labeled 46EU). I have to guess the pants were a mistake at the factory. As with many Yoox deep-clearance purchases, it was made on a whim. It’s a well-made suit and quite a good deal, but I bought it for fun/more casual...- g2x222

How much can a pair of trousers be taken in? I purchased a cotton double-breasted DOPPIAA suit off Yoox (aka gambling) in size 46 (EU). The jacket fits fairly well; however, the trousers are huge!
