Does anyone have a female significant other who wears AE and if so, what models? My wife has a difficult time finding women's shoes that are wide enough. Given the size and width options, AEs may be a solution. On a related note, does anyone know of a women's shoe company with options...- MaddysDad

Quick shoe question: I'm wearing a suit to my company Christmas party which is an evening affair. I realize that plain captoe bals are ideal, but my current options are a plain captoe blucher or dark brown AE Stands. Which is the lesser of two evils, so to speak?- MaddysDad

The JAB website states that due to low inventory they do not ship AE shoes internationally at this time (I'm in Canada). Does anybody know if this low-inventory is related to the Black Friday/Christmas season, or is it year-round?- MaddysDad

Looking for opinions on an acceptable "go to" black cap bal for formal settings (interviews, weddings, funerals). PAs of FAs are ideal, but I have trouble with the 5-last. I'm considering the Hale because they're currently on sale. Are they an acceptable alternative, or is it a little too...- MaddysDad

My situation sounds remarkably similar to 7_rocket. I wear black, navy, charcoal and medium grey pants with dress shirts (I'll add a tie twice a week). I currently have dark brown Strands and black plain cap bluchers from Lands End. I am considering adding a black bal for special occasions...- MaddysDad
